BAR A DIY® and Covid19

While Covid19 is wreaking havoc around the world, bringing many countries and sectors to a standstill, BAR A DIY® remains open and at your disposal!

Thanks to a request from FIVAPE (Fédération Interprofessionnelle de la Vape), the government has agreed to consider e-cigarette-related stores as part of establishments distributing basic necessities. As a result, all your vape shops are now open, but many have decided to close down to protect their customers and employees.

It is indeed permitted to leave your home (with your little piece of paper anyway) but bear in mind that a virus is raging violently in our country, so as soon as you leave your home you're exposing yourself to it! Many people have therefore decided to turn to the Internet and to companies offering home deliveries. And that includes us!

We'd like to reassure you that our preparation processes have not changed, and have even been reinforced! In fact, under normal circumstances, our pickers always wear gloves, gowns and lab coats. They wash their hands with each new order, and for a few weeks now, a new piece of equipment has been added to their outfit: the mask. In this way, we are taking all the necessary steps to continue to offer you more and more choice, but always in the best possible conditions for you and for us!

The only black spot in our business at the moment, which we unfortunately can't control, is shipping, delivery and restocking. As you probably already know, we're based in the Montélimar region, and all the secondary post offices in the area are currently closed due to Covid19. As La Poste no longer carries out its collection rounds in order to protect its employees, we are now forced to take your parcels to the sorting center ourselves. The sorting center is currently closed 3 days a week, leaving us only Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to send your parcels. So, with the volume of parcels multiplying over the last few days due to the increase in internet orders, reduced postal teams and very limited opening hours, this can lead to many delays in delivery times. For our part, we'd like to reassure you that your orders will leave our premises as soon as possible.

But all this also has repercussions on professional deliveries concerning our restocking of certain products or flavors. We do everything we can (we even take our own cars to pick up goods 2 hours away) to reduce our inertia, so we can always satisfy you!
