What are aromas and additive?

Additives enable to raise the taste of certain aromas, to round off the final e-liquid, to sweeten it or to give it a fresh sensation.

Which nicotine rate to choose?

The nicotine rate depends on your nicotine dependance.

For instance :
16-18mg/ml dosage : adapted to smokers of more than 20 cigarettes a day. This dosage will be suitable to smokers that are searching for a strong hit in the throat and who are still very dependent on nicotine.
10-12mg/ml dosage : adapted to smokers of 10 to 20 cigarettes a day. This dosage will be suitable to people who wish to have a less strong hit.
6mg/ml dosage: adapted to smokers of around 10 cigarettes a day. This dosage will be suitable for people that wish to enjoy their juice flavors mor than hit in throat.
3mg/ml dosage: adapted to occasional smokers of arounf 5 cigarettes a day. This dosage will be suitable to people that would like to keep a light amount of nicotine but who favor flavors.
0mg/ml dosage : this dosage will be suitable to people that whish to limit their provision of nicotine or to vapors that wish to enjoy all the juices flavors.

Which base to choose ?

The manufacture of a home-made e-liquid starts with a base ready-to-use which will constitute 80 to 90% of you DIY e-liquid.

Two components are possible :
The propylene glycol : this base is the best conductor of aromas. In association with nicotine, the hit is very well reproduced. Nevertheless, the generated steam volume is extremely weak.
The vegetal glycerin : this base produces a lot of steam and imitate cigarettes smoke. However, it spoils a bit the aromas (sweet taste) and the hit is limited.

80%PG – 20%VG
A base with a great balance, this is the base you must use it you are novice.

50%PG – 50% VG
A base well balanced with slightly more steam than 80/20 and a bit less hit. It is recommended if you find 80/20 too strong and you whish more steam.

20%PG – 80% VG
A base with a lot more production of steam and very less hit. Does not work with all atomizers because it is very thick and grease : a risk of clogging is possible. Reserved to connoisseur, ideally.

100% PG
Base essentially serving to people who don’t want to produce steam. For information, you will have a very dry vape but a lot of hit.

100% VG
Base reserved to blend or to fan of Power Vaping. No compatibility with any resistor on the market, reserved only to experts that have adapted material.

What is propylene glycol ?

It is used as flavor enhancer in the alimentary industry as additive or emulsifier. As a reminder, the propylene glycol produces very little steam but act as flavor enhancer.

What is Vegetal Glycerin ?

The vegetal glycerin is another alimentary additive, used in particular in the manufacture of wine and in the cosmetic field as moisturizing. It is what allows the thickness of steam of the e-liquid.

What is a booster of nicotine ?

It is a neutral base with nicotine in it.
