How to preserve your e-liquid ?

E-liquid is considered a heat-sensitive substance, as heat accelerates maturation and chemical reactions within the e-liquid. This can be beneficial for e-liquid in the initial period only, but it's not the same afterwards, as it starts to vaporize as soon as it's exposed to high temperatures. The higher the temperature, the faster the e-liquid will age. It will lose flavor much faster, and will also have a rapid color change, giving it a darker hue.

Heat can also make e-liquids more fluid, altering their texture and causing them to expire rapidly. These effects are mainly due to the ultra-violet rays found mainly in sunlight. Their impact degrades flavours and nicotine too, but it doesn't make them toxic.

This is why e-liquid should ideally be stored in a cool place, away from light and humidity. Try to avoid leaving it outside or in your car, where it will be exposed to a lot of heat. If it's too hot inside your home, you can keep your e-liquid vials in the fridge, where they'll be protected from both heat and light. And remember to let your e-liquid return to its normal temperature before vaping, for a more pleasant vape.

There are no special conditions for storing e-liquids for a few days or weeks. The main thing to avoid is extreme heat in summer, or exposure to direct sunlight, and make sure you recap your bottles after use to limit exposure to air.
